Waterfalls & Glaciers in Iceland | An excellent adventure
The Tour we chose for this day was the South Coast & Glacier Hike tour and this was with Troll Expeditions.
Iceland
Iceland Is somewhere we have always wanted to go mainly for the opportunity to view Whales at close quarters which didn’t disappoint. It was difficult to decide how we should explore the island; should we hire a car and explore on our own or take a number of day trips. We decided on the latter although I don’t think we would do it this way if we returned. A car would definitely give you more freedom.
Even though we only had four days we did manage to see quite a lot, The Snaefellsnes Peninsula was amazing as was the Waterfalls and Glaciers trip we need. We found Reykjavik itself a bit underwhelming certainly not the pretty little city we expected. Would we go back? Yes I think we would. We are both keen to see the northern lights and we missed a lot of the more touristed areas. Next time we will hire a car.

How did we get to Iceland?
We flew from Manchester to Reykjavik with Iceland Air. We had booked through Skyscanner as they are great at finding the best deals.
